Jackie Martin

Jackie Sue Martin was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on November 12, 1960, the daughter of Jerry and Shirley (VanZee) Valster. The family later moved to Pella, Iowa where Jackie graduated from Pella High School. She went on to receive a degree in as a Dental Hygienist from DMACC in Ankeny.

Jackie was united in marriage to Douglas Martin on August 15, 1981, at the 3rd Reformed Church in Pella, Iowa. The couple lived in Omaha, Sioux Falls, and the Twin Cities, settling in the Willmar area in 1990.

Jackie was an amazing homemaker, mother and teacher. She loved time together with her family more than anything. Even more than that, her greatest joy was found in Jesus. She found ways to honor Him in everything she did and said.
