Tom Klasen

Thomas Gene Klasen was born to Frank and Lillian (Mursau) Klasen on April 25, 1944, in Lena, WI. Shortly after his birth, Thomas and his family moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Tom attended school at Preble High School in Green Bay and graduated in 1962. He continued his education at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Concordia Seminary in IL, Marquette University, and North Park Seminary in Chicago. Tom started working as a Pastor where he served in Ohio, Connecticut, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Hector, MN. Tom was united in marriage to Lylas Broberg on December 14, 1985, in Green Bay. Tom had an active pro-life ministry and authored two books. He enjoyed traveling to many places, but his adventure vacation to the Amazon River in Peru was the best. He also enjoyed golf, where he shot a hole in one. Tom was well-known for his sense of humor, making up funny songs for his children and grandchildren. Tom was a handy man who tried to fix anything, he even designed and built a house. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend.
